The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential and independent counselling service that provides short-term assistance to employees with personal and work-related problems that may influence your wellbeing and work performance. They specialise in counselling services for mining workers and their families, including helping with relationship and family issues, work stress, and mental health.
Upskilling our employees to support fellow colleagues in a time of need is in line with the Anglo American values. Mental health first aid, First Aid and CPR training is delivered both regionally and in the Brisbane Corporate Office.
