Phins up in CQ

Thousands of people across our communities - including hundreds of our workforce - welcomed Dolphins NRL players and staff on their first annual Central Queensland tour, hosted by Anglo American.

Supporting reconciliation in our communities

Reconciliation is about creating equity and equality – and that’s what our work with Traditional Owner groups is all about.

Anglo American has supported and empowered Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our communities for many years to preserve and protect cultural heritage for future generations – and we are passionate in our backing of this work.

We work closely with the Barada Barna, Barada Kabalbara Yetimarala, Gangulu and Wulli Wulli Traditional Owner groups to develop a shared vision of an independent and fair society.

Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, Anglo American committed to provide opportunities to Care for Country; Connecting to Country; Empowering Communities and Songlines.

We also back a range of Indigenous-owned organisations, including Indigital, which brings new technology to communities through cultural connections.

Community incidents and grievances

We’re always looking to find ways to improve how we operate in our communities.

You can lodge a grievance or report an incident to us in person at any of the Anglo American town offices, or complete this form.
